Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Matheus Cunha who has been on fine form this season.
Although Wolves have had a complicated campaign thus far, the Brazilian has been one of the most impressive players in the Premier League this season. He has thus far scored 12 goals and provided four assists in his 25 appearances in all competitions.
Nevertheless, his most memorable outing this term was arguably against Man Utd when he guided his side towards a famous 2-0 victory over Ruben Amorim’s sorry side by scoring the first and creating the second for his teammate Hwang Hee-chan.
Since then, Cunha has been linked to the Red Devils who apparently joined Chelsea and Arsenal in the race for the 25-year-old.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed United’s interest in the versatile attacker. The transfer market insider told Give Me Sport (via CaughtOffside), that a summer swoop could be on the cards, as Cunha is one of the profiles that the management is keeping a close eye on.

The Brazil international has been plying his trade at Molineux since making the move from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2023 for a transfer fee worth around £45 million.
Having recently signed a renewal, the player’s contract with Wolves is valid until the summer of 2029. However, he would be able to free himself as the deal reportedly includes a release clause worth £62.5 million. However, it remains to be seen if Man Utd, or any other suitor for that matter, would be willing to activate this clause.
Cunha has been mostly interpreting the centre-forward role during his time in the Premier League, but he’s also capable of playing on the wings.
